The HPS compound utilizes a Ferro-Carbon formula, developed with aerospace and motorsports technology for street performance. It provides a higher coefficient of friction, delivering excellent stopping power both when cold and at higher operating temperatures (100-500 Deg F Optimal). Despite their performance enhancements, they generate medium dust levels and are virtually noise-free. The part number HB149F.505 specifically denotes front brake pads with a 0.505-inch thickness and are compatible with various Mazda Miata models from 1994-2005, specifically those with standard suspension.
