The Dynamic Friction Company 1400-0050-02 is a front ultimate duty performance brake pad and hardware kit specifically designed for 1972-1980 American Motors Pacers. They are built to deliver exceptional braking performance under extreme conditions, including heavy-duty operation, frequent stopping, off-roading, and towing. The advanced friction material offers a high friction coefficient and low compressibility, ensuring high resistance to brake fade even at elevated temperatures, operating from -30°F to 1400°F. This formulation provides extremely high torque with an aggressive initial bite, along with excellent friction stability, consistency, modulation, threshold control, and release characteristics. DFC Ultimate Duty Performance brake pads are 100% post-cured and scorched. Post-curing ensures stable friction performance, while scorching removes uncured bonding agents to minimize the initial break-in period and enhance immediate stopping power. While offering superior performance, the high-performance friction material may produce some brake noise and dust on certain vehicles. The pads are chamfered and slotted where applicable to help reduce noise during braking. The kit includes necessary hardware for installation.
