The Cat Cams 4901102 is a sport camshaft engineered for enhanced engine performance in select Peugeot models. This camshaft is compatible with the 1.3L 8v TU24 engine found in the Euro Spec Peugeot 205 Rallye and the 1.4L 8v TU3S engines in the UK Spec Rallye & XS models. The specifications for this camshaft include an inlet duration of 269° at 0.1mm lift and 234° at 1.0mm lift, with a valve lift of 10.85mm and 1.80mm lift at Top Dead Center (TDC). The exhaust side features a duration of 268° at 0.1mm lift and 234° at 1.0mm lift, with a valve lift of 10.90mm and 1.70mm lift at TDC. The bearing journal diameter measures 42.44mm, and no cylinder head modifications are required for installation. It is important to verify the first bearing journal diameter before installation, as it should measure 42.44mm, not 44.15mm. If a larger bearing size is present, alternative Cat Cams listings for the Peugeot 106 XSI/PH2 Rallye should be consulted.
