The Cat Cams 7602002 is a set of performance camshafts designed for "hot street" and "dirt track" applications. These camshafts are intended for use with Volkswagen BYD-BWJ-BHZ EA113 TFSI 2.0L 16v DOHC engines producing 230-265hp.

Key specifications include an intake duration @ 0.1mm of 270° and an exhaust duration of 263°, with valve lifts of 11.75mm for intake and 11.00mm for exhaust. The camshafts feature a low-friction coating on the fuel lobe for wear resistance and are adjustable after removing reference pins.

The Cat Cams 7602002 camshafts are engineered for "hot street" and "dirt track" use, specifically for Volkswagen BYD-BWJ-BHZ EA113 TFSI 2.0L 16v DOHC engines with power outputs ranging from 230 to 265hp. These camshafts are designed to work with the original direct injection setup and retain the OE part numbers "06F 109 101G" for intake and "06F 109 102D" for exhaust. The intake camshaft offers a duration of 270° at 0.1mm lift and 11.75mm maximum valve lift, while the exhaust camshaft provides 263° duration at 0.1mm lift and 11.00mm valve lift. The fuel lobe is coated for enhanced wear resistance, and both the intake camshaft and trigger are adjustable after removing reference pins. Installation notes indicate that cylinder head machining is NOT required for these camshafts. However, these profiles are not compatible with stock pistons, requiring a +3mm intake valve pocket and a +1mm exhaust valve pocket. It is important to note that most aftermarket performance pistons will require additional machining, and compatibility should be confirmed with the piston manufacturer. Important compatibility restrictions apply: these camshafts are not compatible with the more recent EA888 TSI engines. Additionally, the product is not for sale or use in California on any pollution-controlled vehicle as per the California Air Resources Board.
