The product is manufactured from new castings, hardened, and machined to exact tolerances, avoiding the need for regrinds.

Show original supplier description

Developed with the latest design, manufacturing, and casting technologies, these camshafts are ground to CNC precision to enhance performance for your Mazdaspeed. These camshafts are manufactured from brand new, hardened castings and machined to exact tolerances, avoiding the use of regrinds. They feature an aggressive grind for longer duration, with specifications of Intake .390" Total Lift 215.8 @ .050 Duration and Exhaust .354" Total Lift 204.2 @ .050 Duration. Testing on a fully bolted 2013 Mazdaspeed 3 with a CorkSport Turbo showed a peak gain of 22.5 whp across the entire RPM band. Installation is a demanding process requiring significant experience and attention to detail, with CorkSport highly recommending professional installation. The estimated install time is 5-8 hours. A tuning or re-tune is required for proper operation, and failure to follow proper break-in instructions will void the warranty. Several items are required for installation, including Camshaft Friction Washers, Camshaft Bolts, a Fuel Pump Housing Gasket, Tappets, an MZR Camshaft Alignment Tool/Plate, and an MZR Crankshaft TDC Locater Pin. A 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects is provided, with a 1-year warranty on lobe wear.
