Performance Cast Aluminum Intake Manifold for VW 2.5L 5

The SPA Performance intake manifold is a direct replacement for the VW 2.5L 5 cylinder 20V 07K engine, constructed from 100% cast aluminum for enhanced durability under higher boost conditions. This unit boasts a significantly larger internal volume, 6.2L, which is a 100% increase over the OEM manifold, promoting better airflow. It comes equipped with an anodized aluminum fuel rail featuring -8AN inlet and outlet ports, compatible with Bosch style injectors (14mm o-ring, compact/standard/long). The throttle body bolt hole pattern remains stock, and it includes a fitting for the stock breather hose (-10AN), two 1/8" NPT block-off plugs, and an oil dipstick holder. The manifold is compatible with the original MAP sensor (ref. 0261230095, not included) and works with both hydraulic and electric steering systems. This intake manifold is not compatible with the original plastic engine cover. To achieve its full performance potential, a custom tune is recommended, and it is noted as compatible with IE Stage 2 tuning.
