The REDSTAR EXHAUST Performance Downpipe is specifically designed for the Audi Q7 and Q8 E839 3.0T single-turbo engine, aiming to maximize exhaust flow and overall efficiency. It features a large-bore design with smooth, optimized transitions that reduce exhaust restriction, leading to noticeable improvements in power output, throttle response, and exhaust tone. Constructed from the highest quality 2.0mm wall 304L stainless steel, this downpipe is 100% TIG welded and back purged for durability and optimal performance. It utilizes OEM-spec V-band flanges and includes all brackets and mounts as found on the original equipment, ensuring a 100% bolt-on installation. REDSTAR EXHAUST offers extensive configuration options, including a choice between a competition (catless) setup or a GESI GEN2 UHOX 400cpsi 6" catalytic converter, which is EPA compliant and tested to meet North American emissions standards (excluding California). Additional options include OE-style heat shielding with a ceramic inner liner to significantly reduce radiant heat, and tunable O2 sensor spacers with inserts to help prevent engine light conditions, especially when using the competition model without proper tuning.
