These FOX Performance Elite Series 2.5 rear shocks are engineered to enhance damping performance across all types of terrain, offering a bolt-on solution for improved control. Constructed with a 2.5-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body, these shocks are built for durability and rust resistance. The hard-anodized and black-anodized finish further protects the components. They feature application-specific, adjustable 3.0 Eibach® racing springs and 7/8-inch hard chrome-plated steel shafts, all tuned with application-specific valving to maximize performance. The external reservoir design not only provides a striking race look but also increases oil and nitrogen capacity for enhanced cooling efficiency. The standout feature is the Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjuster, offering remarkable versatility and precise tuning. With a simple twist of the two adjuster knobs, you gain independent control over 10 separate low-speed and 12 high-speed compression levels, allowing you to fine-tune the ride characteristics to your preference and the driving conditions. Installation is rated as easy with an estimated time of 1 hour, requiring only basic hand tools. These shocks feature adjustable damping, are gas-charged, and have eyelet lower and upper mount types. The compressed length is 15.84 inches, extended length is 24.82 inches, and they offer 8.98 inches of travel.
