Description

The DmaxStore Performance Engine Oil Cooler Assembly is a direct replacement and upgrade for 2001-2019 LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM, LML, and L5P Duramax Diesel engines. This kit addresses the common issue of factory oil coolers leaking internally, which can lead to coolant and oil contamination. Designed for factory OE fitment, this assembly requires no additional specialized parts for installation and is compatible with the factory-style ACDelco PF2232 engine oil filter. The kit includes the performance engine oil cooler assembly, necessary gaskets, seals, and hardware. Optional components are available to accommodate different exhaust manifold setups. If you have aftermarket manifolds without the heat shield boss, no modifications are needed. Important installation notes apply: 2001-2016 models with stock manifolds will require clearancing the driver-side manifold and heat shield. This unit is specifically noted to work on 2007.5-2010 LMM Duramax models, unlike some competing products. The assembly reuses your original oil cooler to rear cover coolant elbow.
