This cat-back system is meticulously tuned to produce an exhilarating exhaust note, enhancing the driving experience during spirited back-road excursions, High-Performance Driver Education (HPDE) events, or dedicated track days. Its design prioritizes maximum performance gains. Installation is facilitated by a direct bolt-on application, utilizing the vehicle's original mounting hanger locations, which eliminates the need for any modifications. The system features a 2.25-inch outer diameter pipe and is finished with laser-etched NISMO logos on the exhaust tips. It is engineered to increase exhaust gas flow by reducing back pressure by a significant 45%, contributing to improved engine performance. The sound levels are precisely measured at 95.8 dB stationary, 92 dB during a WOT pass-by, and a more subdued 75 dB at constant speed. While tuned for performance, efforts have been made to maintain acceptable cabin noise levels for light street use and to remain within legal thresholds, though users should be aware that exhaust noise laws vary by state. This exhaust system is specifically tuned for maximum performance and is therefore not recommended for a daily driven vehicle. It is designed to fit the 2023+ Nissan Z models equipped with a manual transmission (MT Only).
