The APR Upgraded Ignition Coil set is engineered as a direct plug-and-play enhancement to your vehicle's factory ignition system. Each coil in this set features a distinctive red housing adorned with the APR logo, signifying a genuine performance upgrade rather than just an aesthetic change. The increased energy output can contribute to improved engine power, a more responsive throttle, quicker acceleration, and smoother idling. These coils are built with increased copper winding diameter for reduced resistance and larger neodymium magnets for enhanced strength and durability. This product is compatible with a wide range of Audi and Volkswagen Group vehicles, specifically those equipped with EA113, EA888.1, EA888.2, and EA837 2.0T and 3.0T engines. Specific fitment includes models like the Audi A3 (8P), A4 (B5, B6, B7, B8), A5 (B8), Q3 (8U), Q5, TT, and various Volkswagen Golf, Jetta, Passat, and Beetle models. However, some applications, such as the Volkswagen 337/20AE, Golf IV, Jetta IV, and New Beetle, require a 2.0T conversion plate. Additionally, certain C7 A6 models are compatible only up to the 2015 model year with the gen2 EA888 engine. Always confirm fitment with your vehicle's specific configuration using the provided vehicle selector or by contacting our sales team.
