The New Vintage USA Performance II Series Direct Fit Gauge Kit provides a bold aesthetic and modern functionality for your 1982-1992 Pontiac Firebird's dashboard. This 4-gauge kit is engineered for installation behind the factory bezel using the included mounting bracket, or it can be fitted directly into the factory bezel for an updated aftermarket appearance, though some modifications may be required as per the instruction booklet. The kit is designed to work seamlessly with both early (1982-1984) and late (1985-1992) Firebird panels, bringing your dash into the 21st century with its contemporary graphics and colors. These gauges feature advanced capabilities such as LED backlighting, large graphical displays, performance timers, settable odometer mileage, and built-in indicators, all without the need for external drivers or modules. The Performance II Series instruments blend the sophistication of European sports car and racing gauges with a classic feel, avoiding an overly aggressive racing aesthetic. They utilize full-sweep stepper motors for enhanced dial resolution and feature blue LED backlighting for optimal nighttime visibility. The black bezels and flat glass contribute to a high-class, OE-like appearance, and the absence of logos on the dials ensures a professional, custom finish. Built on NVU's Phoenix platform, these instruments offer user-selectable inputs, OLED screens, and stepper motor technology, all manufactured in the USA. The kit includes a specific 82-92 Firebird mounting panel, mounting hardware, a 4-3/8" speedometer, a 4-3/8" tachometer, a 4-3/8" dual gauge for volts/pressure, and a 4-3/8" dual gauge for temperature/fuel (0-90 Ω). Additional included components are an oil pressure sender, a temperature sender, a bushing kit, programming buttons, AMP harnesses, direct drive harnesses, and back clamps. Please note that a speed sender may be required depending on your application and is not included.
