Description

The Schrick 272° intake camshaft is engineered for the BMW M54 6-cylinder, 4-valve engine equipped with double Vanos. This performance camshaft boasts a 272° duration, a 10.9mm cam lobe lift, and an intake peak timing of 126°. It provides 231° of duration measured at 1mm of lift. The valve timing specifications for this intake camshaft include opening at 10° BTDC and closing at 82° ABDC. For the intake side, the valve clearance is specified as hydraulic. It is crucial to check the valve spring installation length and valve-piston clearance when installing this camshaft. Schrick also recommends their hydraulic lifters with a 33mm diameter (part number 086313802) as a complementary component for optimal performance and compatibility.
