The ARM 40TDCI Performance Intake System is engineered to allow your Audi V8 turbos to breathe better by significantly improving airflow. This system is comprised of two main components: the intake portion and the turbo inlets. For optimal performance, especially for Stage 2 and higher tunes, upgrading both the intake and inlets is recommended. The intake portion of this kit features dry media filters, which are preferred over oiled filters to prevent potential damage to MAF sensors. Each filter offers 68 cubic inches of filter area, totaling 136 cubic inches for the system. The intake runner pipes are constructed from durable T6061 aluminum and measure 70mm, representing a 55% increase in size compared to the OEM 45mm pipes. The system also includes 6-layer reinforced silicone couplers for increased durability and reliability. Buyers can choose between OEM or RS Inlet Couplers based on their specific vehicle requirements. Installation is straightforward, with no cutting or trimming required, and is estimated to take approximately 30 minutes. Please note that a heatshield is sold separately (ES#4835385). This intake system is specifically designed for the Audi C7 S6 Quattro, C7 S7 Quattro, and RS7 Quattro models equipped with the 4.0T engine. Compatibility should always be confirmed using the vehicle selector.
