Performance Intake Valves

Drawing on technology from Formula 1, Indy Car, NASCAR, and more, Ferrea's valves are designed to allow your engine to rev higher and flow more air. These valves are crucial for any performance-oriented engine, as they upgrade reliability through slow forging processes, specialized aerospace alloys, precise CNC machining, and robust heat treatments capable of withstanding extreme abuse from high-powered race engines and daily driven vehicles exceeding factory power levels. The power an engine produces is directly limited by airflow. The Competition Plus Intake Valves are constructed from special aerospace quality EV8-Z18 alloys using a 2-step slow forging process, which eliminates material structural damage and ensures proper grain flow for high tensile strength. Each valve undergoes a 48-hour heat treatment and stress-relief process for molecular integrity and features avionics-quality hard chrome plating along with a specially applied hard tip. The intake valves have a head diameter of 32.35mm, a stem diameter of 5.98mm, an overall length of 104mm, and a tip length of 5mm, utilizing triple-groove stems that reuse stock valve keepers. Ferrea engine valves are sold individually. For specific engine applications, the following amounts are typically required: 2.0T FSI engines require 8 intake and 8 exhaust valves, 2.0T TSI engines require 8 intake and 8 exhaust valves, and the 2.5L 5 Cylinder engine requires 10 intake and 10 exhaust valves. Oversized valve options are also available, which require machining work and aftermarket valve seats or modifications to factory seats for installation.
