The Racing Dynamics Performance Intercooler is engineered as a competition-grade upgrade for higher-power late models of the MINI Cooper S, including the F54, F55, F56, F57, and R60 chassis with B46 & B48 engines, from model year 2014 and newer. Constructed with a robust bar and plate design, this intercooler excels at heat dissipation, minimizing heat soak and recovering faster from temperature increases, making it ideal for track events and energetic driving. Its stepped design measures 580mm x 230mm x 120mm, providing over 50% more volume than the stock intercooler while simultaneously lowering pressure drop. The bar and plate construction allows for a 50% increase in the number of rows within a given frontal area compared to conventional designs, further enhancing cooling capabilities. For durability and corrosion resistance, the intercooler features a powder-coated finish, protecting it from rain and debris. The end caps are crafted from cast aluminum and TIG welded to the core, offering improved airflow characteristics and reliability. This intercooler is ready for installation using stock piping, simplifying the upgrade process.
