The do88 ICM-300 is a performance intercooler engineered for a direct, drop-in installation in Audi, Seat, Skoda, and VW vehicles equipped with 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI (MQB) engines. This intercooler boasts significant improvements over stock units, including a 99% greater core volume (15347cm3 vs 7719cm3) and a 5% larger active cooling area (2692cm2 vs 2573cm2). It also delivers 47% higher airflow at a 0.15 bar (2.18 psi) pressure drop, achieving 455 CFM compared to the OEM's 310 CFM. Constructed entirely from aluminum with continuous welds, the ICM-300 is built for durability and peak cooling efficiency, even under strenuous driving conditions. The increased core volume and enhanced cooling capacity lead to lower post-intercooler air temperatures (24°C vs 36°C), allowing the engine to maintain optimal performance during repeated accelerations and sustained high-load situations. This makes it beneficial even for stock vehicles experiencing heat buildup on hot days or during spirited driving. However, specific fitment notes apply: a tight fit on the VW Tiguan (MK2) 2.0 TSI may require shortening the hot side hose. The Audi A3/S3 (8V), Audi TT/TTS (8S), SEAT León/Cupra (MK3), SEAT Ateca/Cupra (MK1), and Skoda Octavia/VRS (MK3) may require trimming or modifications to the plastic radiator/intercooler support frame. Additionally, this intercooler does not fit the Arteon R (320 hp) model. OE part numbers 5Q0 145 803N and 5Q0 145 803P are directly replaced by this unit.
