The Mishimoto performance intercooler is designed for the 2019-2023 Ford Ranger 2.3L EcoBoost. It features a bar-and-plate core with cast-aluminum end tanks, offering increased durability against heat, pressure, and debris compared to stock. This intercooler is 24% less restrictive than the factory unit.

With a 46% increase in core volume and a 49% increase in fin surface area, it provides more efficient cooling. The design results in a 7F reduction in outlet temperature over stock. It includes a bung for boost sensor or water-meth injection and quick-disconnect inlet/outlet connections. This intercooler does not interfere with active grille shutters or adaptive cruise control.

The Mishimoto performance intercooler is engineered as a direct-fit upgrade for the 2019-2023 Ford Ranger equipped with the 2.3L EcoBoost engine. It replaces the stock tube-and-fin core and plastic end tanks with a robust bar-and-plate core that is precision TIG-welded to durable cast-aluminum end tanks. This construction enhances resistance to heat, pressure, and physical damage from road or trail debris. Performance enhancements include a 24% reduction in restrictiveness compared to the stock intercooler, a 46% increase in core volume, and a 49% increase in fin surface area, leading to a 7F reduction in outlet temperature. These improvements translate to dyno-proven gains of 13.6 wheel-horsepower and 13.9 lb-ft of torque when paired with Mishimoto intercooler pipes. The intercooler is equipped with an integrated bung, which can be drilled and tapped for a boost sensor or water-meth injection system. It features CNC-machined quick-disconnect inlet and outlet connections for simplified installation.
