The do88 ICM-330-S is a self-designed performance intercooler engineered for a direct, drop-in installation in Volvo S60, V60, V90, S90, and XC90 SPA models. This intercooler offers significant advantages over the OEM unit, boasting a 62% greater core volume (13766 cm3 vs. 8476 cm3) and a 37% higher airflow at a 0.175 bar pressure drop (423 CFM vs. 309 CFM). Constructed entirely from aluminum with continuous welds, it is built to deliver exceptional cooling efficiency under demanding conditions, ensuring reliability and endurance. The increased core volume leads to improved cooling performance and lower intake air temperatures. This means the engine can pull better across the rev range and resist heat buildup during repeated hard acceleration. Even on a standard, non-tuned vehicle, high inlet temperatures can reduce usable power output in hot climates or during spirited driving. The do88 intercooler ensures consistent power delivery by effectively managing heat. The design allows for fitment without requiring any cutting or modification to the car's original structure. Installation instructions are included, with one set based on a Volvo V60 T6 MY -19, noting that other compatible vehicles might have slight differences.
