The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler is a direct-fit solution engineered for the 2018+ Honda Accord models equipped with either the 1.5T or 2.0T engine. It utilizes a strategically designed bar-and-plate core, measuring 27.95” x 7.34” x 3.54”, mated to robust cast-aluminum end tanks. This construction provides a substantial reduction in intake air temperatures, addressing the heat soak issues common with the factory intercooler, especially when power modifications are added. During testing, this intercooler demonstrated significant performance benefits. It achieved maximum power gains of 13whp/14ft-lbs on a stock 2.0T engine and an impressive 22whp/29ft-lbs when paired with upgraded intake/exhaust systems and ECU tuning. Furthermore, it delivered maximum intake air temperature drops of 28°F compared to the stock intercooler. The intercooler is compatible with stock intercooler piping and includes a new inlet O-ring to maintain boost pressure. It is available in powder-coated silver or black finishes. This intercooler kit is presented as the ideal cooling solution for both stock and modified 1.5T/2.0T engines in the 2018+ Honda Accord.
