The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler Kit (MMINT-STNGR-18SL-MM) is engineered as a direct fit upgrade for the 2018-2023 Kia Stinger GT 3.3T. The intercooler itself has a 3-inch outlet, a thickness of 208 mm, and an outlet diameter of 73 mm. Installation is intended to be a direct fit. However, some sources suggest that trimming of the inlet shroud may be necessary, with one user mentioning the use of an angle grinder with a 3-inch cutting disc for this purpose. The kit includes couplers for a complete installation. Mishimoto's testing indicates significant temperature reductions, dropping intercooler outlet temperature by 29°F on a stock tune and up to 41°F with modifications. The overall pressure drop is reported to be less than 1 psi, ensuring efficient airflow. Dyno tests on a stock tune show maximum gains of 8 whp and 8 wtq.
