Performance Intercooler Kit

Give your 2018-2023 Kia Stinger GT extra cooling power with the Mishimoto Performance Intercooler Kit. The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler features a robust bar and plate core TIG-welded to cast aluminum end tanks, expanding the core for a 94% increase in volume and a 74% increase in external fin surface area. The piping in this kit maintains aluminum construction but increases the inner diameter to 3 inches for enhanced flow with minimal pressure drop. The included hot-side piping merger manifold is also overhauled, with 2-inch inlets and a 3-inch outlet, boosting flow by 51% straight out of the turbos while remaining compatible with stock recirculation valves. The piping is finished in a micro-wrinkle black powder coat for an OEM+ aesthetic and connects via 5-layer silicone couplers. Performance testing shows significant improvements, with the intercooler kit equating to a 29°F drop in outlet temperatures and an 8 whp and 8 wtq gain on stock tuning. When tested with a stage 1 map tune, the kit achieved a 41°F drop in outlet temperature with an additional 6 whp and 8 wtq gain on top of the tune. The kit also features an additional bung on the cold-side intercooler pipe, ready for drilling and tapping for methanol injection or sensors. Installation of this kit requires permanent modification to the front air guide shrouding (part number 29135-J5000).
