Performance Intercooler Kit

The do88 ICM-110 is a high-performance intercooler engineered to directly replace the stock unit in Saab 9-3 1.8t and 2.0t Aero models (2003-2012). This intercooler boasts a substantially larger core volume, measuring 13770cm3 compared to the OEM's 7725cm3, representing an 86% increase. It also facilitates higher airflow, moving 356CFM at a 0.15bar (2.18psi) pressure drop, which is 63% greater than the original equipment. Testing shows a reduction of up to 27°C in post-intercooler air temperature under identical conditions, down from the OEM's 45°C. Constructed entirely of aluminum, the ICM-110 features CAD-designed end tanks and an optimized core for superior cooling efficiency and reduced pressure drop. The OEM intercooler's plastic tanks can struggle with higher boost levels, making the do88 intercooler a more reliable solution for increased power output or demanding driving conditions. It is recommended to tune the engine software to fully leverage the performance gains from this intercooler. This unit features larger 2.5-inch (63mm) hose connections, an upgrade from the OEM's 2.25-inch (57mm) fittings, which contribute to improved flow. Silicone hoses for the inlet and outlet are included to accommodate these larger connections. The intercooler comes with all necessary hardware for installation, including brackets for the radiator, AC condenser, and air guides.
