The BMW Performance exhaust system is a direct-fit muffler upgrade designed for the N54 or N55 equipped E92, E93 335i and 335xi models, specifically for the 2007 through 2010 model years. This system aims to improve vehicle performance by facilitating a more efficient exit of exhaust gases from the engine. Installation of these performance mufflers can yield an increase in engine output by up to 5 horsepower, measured at 6000 RPM. Beyond the performance gains, the system also enhances the auditory experience, producing a more aggressive and sporty exhaust note as engine speeds rise, while maintaining a refined and non-intrusive sound profile.
