Overview

The BMC FB01173 is a replacement panel air filter designed for the Ford Ranger and Bronco Raptor models equipped with the 3.0L V6 EcoBoost engine from 2022 onwards. It installs directly into the original airbox, replacing the OEM filter. This filter is constructed with multi-layered cotton gauze, soaked in low-viscosity oil, and features a protective epoxy-coated alloy mesh.

The BMC FB01173 is a direct-fit replacement panel air filter engineered for 2022 and newer Ford Ranger and Bronco Raptor models featuring the 3.0L V6 EcoBoost engine. It is constructed using a "Full Moulding" system, which creates a single, durable piece without welded joints, enhancing its longevity. The filter media consists of multi-layered cotton gauze, treated with low-viscosity oil for optimal performance and filtration. An epoxy-coated alloy mesh provides protection against fuel fumes and humidity-induced oxidation. BMC air filters are renowned for their ability to allow increased airflow while maintaining efficient filtration, capable of trapping impurities as small as 7 microns, compared to the OEM filter's 10 microns. The rubber used in BMC's filter systems is long-lasting, durable, and adheres well to various airbox shapes.
