The SCT BDX Performance Programmer (MPN 40490) is an advanced tuning device engineered to unlock your vehicle's true potential. It provides access to pre-loaded, street-tested, and dyno-proven tune files developed by SCT's expert calibrators. For personalized performance, you can download custom tunes from your SCT dealer directly to the device within minutes using its WiFi capability. This programmer allows for real-time engine parameter monitoring and data logging for later review, utilizing SCT’s free LiveLink software. It offers a custom-tailored experience, enabling you to unleash potential and adjust various vehicle settings such as speed and rev limiters, tire and gear settings, idle, spark, and fuel. The device is also capable of reading and clearing diagnostic trouble codes. SCT tuning devices comply with the Clean Air Act and do not modify or delete vehicle emissions. Tunes are rigorously tested for safety and environmental compliance. However, certain specific vehicles, including the 2026 Ford F-150 3.5L HO, 2024-2026 Ford E-Series 7.3L, 2023-2026 Ford F53 7.3L, and 2023-2025 Ford F150 (Raptor R) 5.2L, currently only support custom tuning and do not come with preloaded tunes. Operation requires a PC running Windows Vista, 7, 8, or 10, as all software, including the Device Updater, is not Mac compatible. Users are advised to use the dealer locator to find a custom tuning dealer and to select their specific vehicle to confirm compatibility before purchase.
