The King Racing CR4606XP is a performance rod bearing set engineered for specific Saab models with B204, B205, B234, and B235 engines. These bearings utilize King's advanced pMax Black overlay, which incorporates 5% copper and is further fortified by a proprietary nano-scaled hardening process. This process modifies the molecular structure to create a fatigue-resistant shield, leading to a significant 29% increase in overlay hardness and a 24% boost in load capacity (10,200 psi). In addition to the advanced overlay, the CR4606XP bearings feature King's SecureBond™ technology. This micro-etch surface preparation process strengthens the tri-metal structural integrity, reducing the likelihood of delamination or catastrophic failure under extreme load conditions or metal-to-metal contact. This specific bearing set is designed for race applications and fits a wide range of Saab vehicles, including various trims of the 9-3, 9-5, 900, 9000, and 99 models from different production years.
