Performance Series 2.0 Coil-Over Shock

The BDS Suspension FOX98562001 is a Performance Series 2.0 Coil-Over Snap Ring IFP shock engineered to provide excellent on- and off-road performance. This bolt-on solution includes a custom-molded spring seat, enabling the reuse of your stock spring and mounting hardware. The shock body is precision-machined from impact-extruded, clear-anodized aluminum (6061-T6) for a lightweight, rust-resistant construction that dissipates heat faster than steel. Internally, the shock features an internal nitrogen-charged gas reservoir separated from the shock oil by an Internal Floating Piston (IFP). This design prevents oil from mixing with the nitrogen, ensuring maximum performance from the factory-tuned, application-specific valving. The shock offers three predetermined preload settings for 0, 1, or 2 inches of lift. Key specifications include 4.79 inches of travel, a 2.0-inch body diameter, a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated alloy steel shaft, an extended length of 22.09 inches, and a compressed length of 17.3 inches. This coil-over shock is specifically designed for the 10-Up Toyota 4Runner and 10-14 Toyota FJ Cruiser. It reuses stock mounting hardware and springs, with the spring not included separately.
