The FOX Performance Series 2.0 IFP rear shock is engineered to significantly upgrade the ride quality and handling of your 2014-2018 Dodge Ram 2500 4WD, whether on pavement or tackling rough terrain. Constructed with a durable 2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum body, this shock is built to resist rust and withstand demanding conditions. The 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft provides robust performance, complemented by a race-developed high-flow piston design. The shock utilizes a mono-tube design with an internal reservoir that effectively separates the shock oil from a high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber. This Internal Floating Piston (IFP) technology is crucial as it prevents oil aeration, allowing the shock to maintain consistent performance and fade-free operation even under extreme use. FOX and BDS collaborated to custom-tune the valving of this shock specifically for BDS Suspension systems.
