Performance Series 2.0 IFP Rear Shock

The Fox Performance Series 2.0 IFP rear shock absorber is engineered to significantly upgrade the handling characteristics of your truck or SUV. The construction features a 2.0-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum body, which enhances heat dissipation and resists corrosion. Inside, a race-developed, high-flow piston design is matched with application-specific valving to maximize performance. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design within the mono-tube body isolates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas, preventing oil aeration and ensuring consistent damping. This shock absorber is specifically designed for a 1.5 to 3-inch rear lift height and features a 9.62-inch travel with a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated alloy steel shaft. Redundant sealing systems, including a main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal, ensure long-term durability. The shock has an extended length of 26.72 inches and a compressed length of 17.1 inches, utilizing ES6 mounts at the top and bottom. This specific shock absorber (FOX98524241) is designed for 2020 and newer Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, 3500 HD, and GMC Sierra 2500 HD, 3500 HD models. It is noted that this shock is designed for use with a BDS 1.5-3 inch lift suspension kit and is intended for rear-axle applications only.
