The Racingline PDM At Home Software Flashing Cable (VWR031000) provides a convenient way for users to perform ECU and TCU re-flashes directly from their home or garage. This tool grants access to the complete RacingLine Performance Software calibration suite, enabling users to install, remove, upgrade, or change their vehicle's calibration at their own pace. The Power Delivery Module (PDM) technology facilitates quick and safe flashing processes, allowing for adjustments to engine tunes, transmission functionality, and even switching between different fuel octanes or returning the car to stock. To utilize the PDM system, users must purchase both this flashing cable and the corresponding software file (Digital Access Key) for their specific vehicle, which is sold separately. Upon purchase of the cable, USP Motorsports will email a form to collect the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) for registration. The PDM Install Software will then automatically detect the vehicle's ECU and VIN, presenting a list of compatible engine ECU and transmission tunes. The PDM unit is not VIN-locked, allowing for its use on multiple vehicles with the purchase of additional software Digital Access Keys for each. Currently, PDM is compatible with specific engine types, including the 2.0 TSI EA888 gen.4, 2.0 TSI EA888 gen.3, and 2.5 TFSI EA855 EVO. A comprehensive list of supported platforms is available, featuring various VW, Audi, Cupra, and Skoda models from specific model years and with particular engine configurations.
