The ACT TC2-HDSS Heavy Duty Performance Street Sprung Clutch Kit is engineered for drivers seeking improved clutch performance and longevity. This kit pairs ACT's popular Heavy Duty pressure plate with their most popular street disc, offering a substantial upgrade over stock components. This results in a significant increase in torque capacity, rated at 240 ft-lbs, while maintaining a light to moderate pedal effort for comfortable street driving. The precision-stamped cover ensures rigidity and consistent performance. The included performance street disc is constructed with premium organic friction materials, incorporating high copper content for efficient heat transfer and a steel-backed lining for enhanced durability and resistance to bursting at high RPMs. The disc's reduced marcel design contributes to faster shift action, complementing the pressure plate's performance. All ACT clutch kits are manufactured new, not rebuilt, and are 100% clamp load tested and dynamically computer balanced for smooth, reliable operation at high RPMs. This clutch kit is recommended for both street and race applications, offering longer friction life and a smooth, positive engagement with OE to mild gear rattle.
