Performance Subframe Mount Bushing Insert

Developed by ECS Tuning's R&D department, this insert underwent extensive research and testing to create a design that minimizes driveline deflection while preserving everyday driving comfort. The goal was to achieve a compliant ride while maximizing performance, a feat proven through real-world testing on multiple vehicles. The power lost through mount deflection is redirected to the wheels for a more direct feel. Key features include a reduction in dogbone/subframe mount movement, increased drivetrain rigidity, and improved response. The mounting plate is made of durable, black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum for corrosion resistance. The 90A durometer polyurethane bushing insert engages the upper subframe bushing, loading along the axis of the pendulum arm mount. This unique design maintains low NVH levels and accommodates both Version 1 and Version 2 subframe bushings. Installation is designed to be straightforward, typically completable in under 30 minutes for mechanically inclined individuals. The kit includes all necessary hardware to replace the factory torque-to-yield bolts, which must be replaced whenever removed. It is noted that DSG/automatic transmission models may experience slightly more NVH than manual transmissions.
