The Mishimoto Performance Top-Mount Intercooler is engineered as a direct fit for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX, aiming to enhance performance for modified vehicles. Designed specifically for optimal performance on vehicles utilizing up to stage 2 tuning, this intercooler boasts significant improvements over the stock unit. It features a 76% increase in core volume and an 81% increase in external fin surface area, resulting in a 34°F drop in intercooler outlet temperatures. Additionally, it provides a 12% increase in flow and a 76% increase in core volume. The intercooler is constructed from 100% aluminum with fully cast end tanks, featuring a bar-and-plate core designed for maximum cooling efficiency with minimal pressure drop. It is compatible with the stock engine cover and charge pipe, and includes a pre-drilled and tapped NPT sensor port.
