The Mishimoto MMTMIC-WRX-15PSL-MM is a top-mount intercooler kit designed for performance. It features a 4-inch thick bar-and-plate core constructed from 100% aluminum with TIG-welded cast end tanks. The kit includes a polished intercooler charge pipe, larger air duct for optimal airflow, new BPV hoses, a hot side coupler, and a silicone throttle body hose.

The Mishimoto top-mount intercooler kit, part number MMTMIC-WRX-15PSL-MM, is engineered for enhanced cooling performance in Subaru WRX and Forester XT models. Constructed from durable 100% aluminum with TIG-welded cast end tanks, it utilizes a highly efficient 4-inch thick bar-and-plate core designed to minimize pressure drop while maximizing cooling efficiency. This kit directly replaces the stock intercooler and includes a polished charge pipe, a larger air duct for improved airflow, new BPV hoses, a hot side coupler, and a silicone throttle body hose for a complete installation. This intercooler system is proven to deliver a bolt-on power increase of +15 whp and +8 wtq when used with a stage 2 tune. Furthermore, it provides a significant temperature drop of 35°F compared to the stock intercooler under similar conditions. The intercooler has a maximum recommended boost pressure of 35 PSI and can support up to 450 horsepower. It is designed for direct fitment in 2015-2021 Subaru WRX models and 2014-2018 Subaru Forester XT models with the VA chassis code and FA20DIT engine code. All necessary hardware, clamps, and brackets for a straightforward installation are included. The intercooler core is available in either a sleek silver or stealth black powder-coated finish. Provisions for an NPT sensor are also included.
