Performance V2 Oil Pickup

The IAG Performance V2 Oil Pickup is engineered to replace the failure-prone OEM EJ25 oil pickup found in various Subaru models, addressing a critical weakness that can lead to severe engine damage due to oil pressure loss. This upgraded component is constructed from stainless steel tubing that is twice as thick as the factory design, significantly increasing its strength and durability. The pickup features a precision-machined 3/8" stainless steel flange, sealed with a Viton O-ring for a secure connection to the engine block. A key improvement is the reinforced stainless steel mounting bracket, which utilizes two mounting points for enhanced stability, contrasting with the OEM's single-point design. This robust construction minimizes the risk of cracking and failure, even under high-performance driving conditions. The IAG V2 Oil Pickup is designed for a straightforward installation, mounting seamlessly to the engine block in the original factory position. It includes all necessary mounting bolts and an O-ring, requiring no engine modifications or additional parts for fitment. The package contains one oil pickup, one Viton O-ring, two M6 x 16mm hex socket head screws, and two M6 x 10mm hex socket head screws. This oil pickup is specifically designed to fit 2002-2014 Subaru WRX, 2004-2021 STI, 2005-2009 Legacy GT (LGT), and 2004-2013 Forester XT (FXT) models. However, a fitment note indicates that early EJ25 engines found in pre-2006 Subaru models (excluding the STI) will require the use of an STI-style oil pan or an IAG Street/Competition Series Oil Pan. An additional note states compatibility with EJ20 Subaru WRX engines equipped with EJ25 oil pans, all EJ25 Subaru STI engines, and the Killer B Oil Pan when used with either a Killer B Oil Pickup Spacer or the IAG Oil Pickup Spacer Kit (PN# IAG-ENG-2081SP).
