Overview

The Edelbrock Performer EPS intake manifold is designed for 1986 and earlier 262-400 cubic-inch Small-Block Chevrolet V8 engines. Its patented dual-plane, low-rise design features a 180-degree firing order to enhance torque across a broad RPM range, providing excellent throttle response. This aluminum manifold is finished in satin and is intended for performance applications.

This intake manifold has a runner design tuned for peak torque at 3500 RPM on a 350-inch engine, making it suitable for power output from idle up to 5500 RPM. Dyno tests indicate gains of 5 hp and 9 ft-lbs. of torque compared to the Edelbrock Performer manifold #2101.

The Edelbrock Performer EPS intake manifold is a performance-grade component engineered for 1955-1986 Small-Block Chevrolet V8 engines ranging from 262 to 400 cubic inches. Constructed from durable aluminum with a satin finish, this dual-plane, low-rise manifold utilizes a patented 180-degree firing order design. This configuration is optimized to significantly improve torque output across a wide RPM range, from idle up to 5500 RPM, with peak torque achieved around 3500 RPM on a 350-inch engine, ensuring responsive performance. This intake manifold accepts a 4150-style square-bore carburetor and is a non-EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) model. Compared to the Edelbrock Performer manifold #2101 on a 350 Chevy, dyno testing revealed performance enhancements of 5 horsepower and 9 ft-lbs. of torque. Furthermore, from 3000 to 4500 RPM, average torque increases exceeded 5 ft-lbs., providing more usable power in the mid-range. It is important to note specific fitment considerations. This manifold **will not fit under the stock Corvette hood**. Additionally, this unit is sold without gaskets or seals, which must be sourced separately.
