The Edelbrock Performer-Plus Camshaft Kit #2102 is a performance camshaft designed for 1957-1986 small-block Chevrolet engines, specifically 265-400 cubic inch V8s. It aims to provide optimum torque from the low-end to the mid-range, enhancing throttle response and overall power. This camshaft is intended for street use and is characterized by a smooth idle, making it a suitable choice for daily drivers, trucks, vans, RVs, and 4x4 applications. This kit includes flat tappet lifters, assembly lube, and installation instructions. The camshaft specifications include an intake duration of 204 degrees and an exhaust duration of 214 degrees, with a lift of .420 inches for intake and .442 inches for exhaust. The lobe separation is 112 degrees, and the intake center line is 107 degrees, resulting in 14 inches of vacuum. For optimal performance, Edelbrock recommends pairing the Performer-Plus #2102 camshaft with Performer manifolds, targeting an operating RPM range from off-idle to 5500 rpm. When tested with a Performer EPS intake manifold (#2701) and Performer cylinder heads (#60909), this camshaft configuration produced 320 horsepower and 382 ft-lbs of torque. The Edelbrock Performer-Plus Camshaft #2102 is 50-State Legal with E.O. #D-215-19 for the specified 1957-1986 small-block Chevrolet applications.
