Description

The Fel-Pro 1017-1 is a performance head gasket engineered for big block Chevy 427/454 engines. This head gasket features a robust wire-ring combustion seat reinforced with stainless steel "armor." This design provides extra sealing force directly around the combustion chambers. The gasket is constructed with a pre-flattened steel-wire ring, combining the strength of steel-wire sealing with minimal brinelling on aluminum cylinder heads. Key specifications include a 4.540" bore, a 0.039" compressed thickness, and a 10.500cc compressed volume. The Fel-Pro 1017-1 is sold individually. It is important to note that this gasket will not fit Gen V or GEN VI blocks.
