The tesa 51026 is a PET cloth wire harness tape designed for engine compartment applications. It offers high abrasion protection and resistance to high temperatures up to 150°C.

The tape features a new-generation acrylic adhesive compatible with halogen-free cable jacketing materials and is optimized for both manual and automatic application. It is oil and fuel resistant, UV resistant, flame retardant, and fogging-free.

The tesa® 51026 PET Cloth tape is an efficient solution for engine compartment wire harnessing, providing very high abrasion and high temperature resistance. Its durable, new-generation acrylic adhesive is compatible with new halogen-free cable jacketing materials like PE/PP, ensuring reliable performance in demanding automotive environments. Constructed with a PET cloth backing, this tape offers a total thickness of 260 µm and is designed for flexibility and ease of application. It boasts Class D abrasion resistance and Class A noise damping according to LV312 standards. The tape is also resistant to oil, fuel, aging, and rot, while being tear-resistant and fogging-free. Key performance values include a temperature resistance range from -40 °C to 150 °C, and strong adhesion to steel at 5.5 N/cm. It is also flame retardant and UV resistant. The tape offers stable unwind strength and is compatible with PVC, PE, and PP cable insulation.
