Phone Flash Kit

The COBB Phone Flash Kit provides a smartphone-based ECU tuning solution specifically for the 2022-2024 Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 equipped with the FA24 engine. This kit leverages EcuTek technology and a dedicated smartphone app, eliminating the need for a laptop during the flashing and map switching process. The kit comes with Cobb's Off-The-Shelf (OTS) calibrations, which include custom features such as launch control and anti-lag capabilities. Both manual and automatic transmission configurations are supported, with separate calibrations provided for each to optimize shift behavior alongside engine tuning. This phone flash kit utilizes the same EcuTek calibration technology and OTS maps as the COBB Flash Kit Pro. The primary difference lies in the user interface: instead of a computer running EcuTek ProECU software, this kit uses a smartphone app that connects to the ECU via an EcuTek dongle. The OTS maps developed by COBB for the FA24 BRZ and GR86 are identical between the two kits, offering the same calibration strategy, custom feature unlocks, and performance gains. Owners can also pursue custom tuning by working with an EcuTek-certified ProTuner, using the same hardware. The typical OTS power gain is approximately 5 hp and 4 lb-ft of torque when using 93 octane fuel. The kit includes the Cobb Phone Flash Kit itself, calibration files, and instructions for app access.
