Piega Forged Aluminum Wheel Set

The OZ Racing Piega wheel set is constructed from specially treated billet aluminum alloy that undergoes a bi-directional forging process. This method creates a more uniform and stronger metal structure, which is further enhanced by in-house heat treating, shot peening, and CNC finishing. The result is an exceptionally lightweight and rigid wheel, designed using Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis to optimize strength and minimize weight. This reduction in wheel weight directly lowers the moment of inertia, leading to quicker acceleration and braking. Furthermore, it decreases un-sprung weight and gyroscopic effect, contributing to quicker turn-in and more positive handling characteristics. This wheel set is specifically designed for Aprilia RSV 1000/R/Factory and Tuono 1000R models. Included with the wheel set are bearings, valve stems, axle spacers (as applicable), and a sprocket adaptor. However, please note that the Original Equipment (OE) rear sprocket will not fit.
