The Garmin Reactor 40 Hydraulic Autopilot is a highly responsive system for hydraulically steered powerboats and sailboats. It features a solid-state 9-axis Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) for minimal heading error, course deviation, rudder movement, and power consumption, ensuring a smooth ride. The system requires minimal commissioning and calibration. Patented Shadow Drive™ technology allows for manual steering override when the autopilot is engaged. When connected to a compatible Garmin networked chartplotter, it offers full control from anywhere on the boat and supports preprogrammed trolling and search procedures. Optional Auto Guidance (with BlueChart® g2 Vision® charts, sold separately) enables automatic steering of GPS paths.
