Description

In high horsepower applications, stress loads can cause the input shaft to twist and push towards the clutch, potentially destroying the transmission case. This brace easily bolts into the transmission bell-housing, making it a cost-effective investment for any vehicle equipped with 02A or 02J transmissions. It is constructed from aluminum for durability. Installation requires following the factory torque specifications for fasteners: 18 ft-lbs plus a 1/4 turn. Note that some transmission case filing may be necessary due to variations in casting. This part is designed for any vehicle with an 02A or 02J transmission. While it's a universal fit for these transmissions, some online retailers list specific Volkswagen models like the Corrado, Golf/GTI Mk3, and Jetta 1999-2006. If you are unsure about fitment, contact a technical advisor with your vehicle details.
