The pipe size is measured by the nominal inside diameter, while the actual outside diameter is listed in the die size. It is crucial to use the correct material with the correct die; using a material that is too small will result in a crimped bend, while material that is too large will not fit. The CLR (centerline radius) of the bend is the distance from the center of the bend to the center of the material being bent. The degrees of bend refer to the maximum degrees the die will make.
