Piston Bypass Valve

The Forge Motorsport FMDVCS14A is a piston design bypass valve engineered as a direct replacement for your vehicle's original unit. Unlike OEM diaphragm valves, this piston design offers enhanced longevity and durability. A key benefit is its adaptability; it can be fitted with different springs to accommodate increased boost pressures or engine modifications, allowing for custom tuning. The valve is designed to replace specific OEM valves; ensure your vehicle has the valve shown in Figure 1, as the valve in Figure 2 is not compatible. This change has been observed on vehicles produced after 2016, so a visual check is recommended before purchase. To avoid potential P0101 trouble codes when using an atmospheric discharge setup, the ECM must be reprogrammed with a tune optimized for this configuration. The package includes the FMDVCS14A valve, an uprated yellow spring, and a Forge sticker. This blow-off valve is compatible with a range of Chevrolet, Ford, and Vauxhall models, including the Ford Focus RS MK3, Chevrolet Cruze 1.4T Ecotec (2011-2016), Chevrolet Sonic 1.4T Ecotec (2012-2014), and various Vauxhall models such as the Adam (2014 Onwards 1.4T), Astra J (2009-2016 1.4T), Corsa D (2010-2015 1.4T) and Corsa E (2015-2019 1.4T), Insignia (2008-2014 1.4T), Meriva (2010-2017 1.4T), Mokka (2012-2017 1.4T), and Zafira (2011-2019 1.4T). It is explicitly stated that this product is not compatible with a 2018 Ford Focus ST250 and will not fit a 2013 Astra GTC 1.4 turbo.
