Carrillo rods are made from a proprietary alloy, forged to custom specifications, and fully machined. After heat treatment, each rod is magnaflux inspected, hardness checked, and machined to final size. Each set is balanced and shot-peened for strength and fatigue properties. Includes Carrillo H11 tool steel (WMC) bolts, high-quality aircraft-standard fasteners with asymmetrical threads for even clamp load and increased fatigue life. For racing, H11 bolts should be changed periodically and lubricated. H11 bolts are good for about 15-18 torque cycles. Sold as a set of 6, one set per car.
