MAHLE oil filters reliably prevent contaminants from entering the lubrication system, maintaining oil quality and engine performance/efficiency. They feature stable pleat geometry for cold start stability and high-pressure resistance for load peaks up to 20 bar. A pressure relief valve ensures oil supply under all conditions (viscous oil, contaminated filter elements, or exceeded replacement intervals). A non-return flow valve prevents filter draining when the engine is off and ensures adequate oil supply during start-up. High-grade sealing materials and custom-fit connecting pieces assure reliable separation of contaminated and filtered oil.
