Mahle Motorsport pistons are engineered as ready-to-install forged piston assemblies. These high-performance pistons are crafted from durable 2618 low expansion aluminum alloy, ensuring exceptional strength and precise piston-to-wall clearance. Key features include an anti-friction skirt coating for reduced drag and forced pin oilers that enhance wrist pin lubrication. The pin bores are meticulously CNC precision-machined. This specific piston model features an inverted dome design with two valve reliefs, optimized for Small Block Ford engines. It's designed for a 4.040" bore, 3.250" stroke, and 5.400" rod length, with a crown volume of -16cc. It accommodates a 0.927" steel wrist pin (weighing 118g) and utilizes a round wire clip style. The piston weighs 415g and is compatible with 1.0mm, 1.0mm, and 2.0mm piston rings (rings and clips are not included and are sold separately). When paired with 70cc heads, the compression ratio is 8.2:1. This product is manufactured in the United States and is currently available for order.
