Features include stable pleat geometry for cold start stability, high-pressure resistance (up to 20 bar) for load peaks, a pressure relief valve to guarantee oil supply even with viscous oil, contaminated elements, or extended intervals, and a non-return flow valve to prevent filter drainage when the engine is off, ensuring oil supply upon start. High-grade sealing materials and custom-fit connecting pieces ensure reliable separation of contaminated and filtered oil. Mahle recommends replacing filters within manufacturer-stipulated maintenance intervals.
